Well, I met a true, dyed in the (Red) wool, Communist the other night. It’s the first time, if my memory serves me that I met a proud communist, although I have met, many, many people that unknowingly believe in it’s ideals.

How did it all start? Well, I was outside ordering Pizza, while my cousin was inside, getting into political arguments as he sometimes does. I heard, very clearly “Yeah I voted for Obama, but I wouldn’t have if Florida wasn’t a swing State”

Hrmm.. This was interesting, he followed that one up with “I would have voted for the Communist party…CPUSA”

At this point I believe I started jumping, I wildly handed my cellphone off to someone else and jumped right into this conversation.

It seems that this fellow (soon to graduate with an English Major and with a desire to work for the school board…shockingly enough), believes that, if Communism were only given a chance, it would work.

I asked why it had never worked in the past, fair question, right? Well, apparently it’s never happened in the past, Stalin, Lenin, Trotsky (Of which he was particularly fond), Mao, Kim Jong-Il, Castro, none of these guys were actually communist!

Then the rants on CEO’s started…and kept going…and going. Exploiting the workers, class warfare, you know the drill. So, for the 2 readers of my blog, here’s a quick and dirty list to disarm your lovable local communist.

Ask them these questions, in as close an order to this as you can, and you’ll render 99% of communists/hardcore liberals speechless.

1. Why has it never worked before. (They’ll answer it hasn’t ever been right before)
2. How would it be different this time. (They won’t know or they’ll say “If all the people rise up at once”)
3. How do you define communism, socialism, etc. (They’ll probably talk about CEO’s here, workers right)
4. Why do you care about CEO’s they are only one person, wouldn’t you like to be a CEO? Don’t you want everyone to make as much money as they can? (Trap them into saying CEO’s exploit the workers)
5. Every person who has a job in America applied for it, they wanted it and worked there knowing what they’d get. (They’ll respond with raise the minimum wage or increase taxes on the rich.)
6. Can you show me one country where the massive redistribution of wealth hasn’t created a political ruling class class and leaves the majority of people in poverty? Did you know the bottom half of Americans already don’t pay income tax?
7. Did you know that we only Tax income? We can’t touch any of that old money of the upper class you hate so much, we can only tax new production. Which inhibits growth by default, [The owner of the Miami Dolphins wanted to sell the team before Obama took office so he wouldn't get hit with the higher Cap Gains tax Obama promised. ]
8. At this point they will be very flustered, they really won’t want to continue, so ask them this question, it shuts most all libs up immediatly….

I’ve heard alot about what you wouldn’t do, now tell me what you want to do!
